It’s Coming: Efty.com Marketplace + DAN.COM Integration to Supercharge Domain Sales

2020 is still far from over and for a lot of people, it’s already one of the most challenging years in modern history. It is however been a great year for technology, as COVID-19 has taught us the Internet is critical, it massively accelerated the growth of e-commerce, and as a result: the demand for great aftermarket domains is at an all-time high.

Here at Efty, we’ve been tackling some challenges on our own this year, as our platform continues to grow our development team invested significant resources in ramping up security and scaling our infrastructure to support the large influx in traffic we’re seeing across the platform each day.

But where’s the innovation? You know, the stuff that helps you sell more domains?

No worries, we haven’t forgotten about our mission and we have been hard at work behind the scenes to deliver on our promise to help you sell more domains and pay less commission.

So, to keep you in the loop here is what’s coming to Efty in the next few weeks:

Increased exposure for your domains at Efty.com

Ever since we launched the first beta version of our sales platform, sellers have been asking if Efty can help bring more exposure for their domains through a consolidated marketplace. A place where buyers could search for and purchase domains from all Efty sellers combined. We’ve worked hard on turning this popular request into a reality and the main Efty.com site will soon be undergoing a complete redux into the industry’s first commission-free marketplace.

Here’s a sneak preview:

The launch of the new Efty.com marketplace will make one of the biggest and most premium inventories in the industry available for search (of course, there’s an easy opt-out for sellers too) and allows buyers to negotiate with over a thousand different portfolio owners and transact directly via Escrow.com or DAN.COM

Efty + DAN.COM =💥!

Efty sellers will soon be able to add DAN.COM powered Buy-It-Now buttons to their for-sale landing pages and/or marketplace sites and it will be a checkout option on the new Efty.com marketplace alongside Escrow.com

Besides both companies being headquartered in the Netherlands, Efty and DAN.COM share a similar vision, values and strive to empower domain name investors with better solutions and tools to help sell more domain names at a lower commission.

DAN.COM has handled well over $100M in domain name sales since it’s inception and is loved by buyers and sellers alike for its frictionless transaction and transfer process and super-fast payouts. They also support a wide range of payment options for buyers and sellers such as bitcoin.

There’s a lot more great stuff coming to Efty in the remainder of 2020 so stay tuned and expect more regular updates from the team in Groningen!

  1. Super duper idea!!!
I must say I never saw this coming. It’s a win-win for both Efty and Dan.
I do hope this feature is not limited to certain subscriptions only. It would be great if it’s applicable on all subscription plans.
    Congratulations on the integration.

  2. And what will be the commission? really 9%? It would be better to integrate with Epik Escrow there at least a commission of only 1.5%, and even better if Epik Escrow released an add-on for WooCommerce.
