Setting up your PayPal integration.

Our deep integration with PayPal lets you place Buy It Now (BIN) buttons on your For-Sale landing pages and domain name marketplace, allowing buyers to purchase your domain names directly with PayPal. As a trusted, secure, and seamless payment method used by more than 200 million people worldwide, PayPal can help you sell more domain names by giving your buyers an easy way to pay for your domain.

To get started with integrating PayPal BIN buttons on your landing pages, follow these easy steps:

2 – Sign into your Efty account and go to Settings > Integrations to add your PayPal username (the email address you use to log into your PayPal account)

3 – Go to Settings > Preferences and update your settings, such as the default payment platform. Please note that your default payment will lead and overwrite any previous settings. If you select PayPal as your default payment platform, all your domains with BIN prices will show PayPal BIN buttons. You can, however, overwrite this with another payment platform, such as Dan.com, Escrow Pay, or Stripe, at the individual domain name level.

4.      Add a BIN price to your domain name(s) from either the individual domain editor or the bulk editor mode and hit Save.

5. Voila, the BIN button is now visible on your domain landing page (and/or marketplace)!

Once the buyer clicks the Buy-It-Now button, we take them to a simple form to capture some essential information, such as their Name, Email, and Phone number, which Efty will email to you.

Once the buyer clicks the “Continue to PayPal” button, they will be directed to the PayPal.com website, where they can instantly pay for the domain name. As a bonus, the logo of your Efty marketplace will be displayed at the top of the PayPal checkout form. If you have a merchant account with PayPal, you can also control this logo from within your PayPal account's settings.

Once the buyer has successfully submitted the payment, you will immediately receive an email from PayPal confirming the payment for the domain name. You must then contact the buyer to discuss the domain name transfer process immediately.

Please keep in mind that this is your sole responsibility as the domain seller, and failure to do so may result in a chargeback and possibly the closure of your PayPal account.
