Did you know that a Dimensions Data study reveals that nine out of ten consumers would prefer using messaging to communicate with businesses, and, according to Nielsen, 56% would rather message customer service than speak on the phone?
Good news, as we’ve teamed up with WATI, an official WhatsApp API partner, to bring a free WhatsApp Live Chat Widget to your Efty marketplace site and/or for-sale landing pages, allowing you to communicate with buyers in real-time.
We are super excited about this integration because WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging app and it will allow you to directly capture one of the most important contact details of a potential buyer: their mobile phone number.
By adding a WhatsApp chat to your Efty marketplace or custom for-sale landing page domain you add a conversational element to the experience. It enables you to collect leads, answer questions, negotiate, and close sales — all in a personal and informal way. Once the potential buyer leaves the landing page, the conversation still continues on WhatsApp.
The widget is fully customizable, meaning you can not only change the colors but also the call to action and the text inside the button. Creating the widget only takes a few minutes and having it up and running on your Efty marketplace or custom landing page domain is as easy as copy and paste!
This integration is available on the Efty Growth and Professional tier.

Excellent news! Do I have to expose my phone number to the the customer too as I only have a personal phone with WhatsApp installed?
Your phone number is not displayed anywhere on the landing pages but once the customer will contact you via WhatsApp they will be able to see your WhatsApp phone number.
WATI is $40 /$49 per month isn’t it? Or is there a free way to manage this integration?
There’s a free version, please check the link to our knowledge base at the end of the article.
